As part of the school preparations for the 2022-23 school year, school staff were in full attendance for the professional development days conducted prior to the start of term.
Family Day - Tree Planting
BSGC – A Community in Action 🌳
On Saturday 30th April, approximately 230 students, parents and staff from BSGC South and Tafira travelled to the Canarian mountainside near Valleseco. The group had volunteered to help plant trees with the local NGO Fundación FORESTA, working collaboratively and productively to plant over 260 trees! It was an extremely enjoyable and rewarding experience, simultaneously helping reforest the island whilst also modelling important attributes for our children. The school is immensely grateful to the students, parents and staff who enabled this event to be so successful and to Foresta, for proving such an opportunity and experience!
Mr Fernando Ojeda González
It is with great sadness that we share news that Mr Fernando Ojeda González, one of the founders of the school, has passed away. On behalf of the British School community I send sincere condolences to his family at this sad time.

The second round of the TTK WARRIORS national tennis circuit was held from 21 to 27 March at the Blas Infante Tennis Technification Centre in Seville.
