Our South School students enjoyed a wide variety of activities to celebrate World Book Day, whilst wearing their pyjamas. Everyone had a wonderful day.
Fantastic effort from all the primary students this term but a special well done to Teide for winning the house cup for the term with 2488 house point!!!!
Year 8 have recently completed some fantastic portraits, they have used their own photography and then carefully used a gridding system to make an accurate portrait. They then looked at the Fauvist paintings of Henri Matisse and produced a colour scheme focusing on hot colours for the lighter tones and cold colours for the shadows. Some lovely vibrant work.
Our Year 12 students are making the most of the Service opportunities which are given to them around school, from reading with Primary students, assisting in Secondary lessons to recycling and producing news displays.
We are also proud of our Year 6 student Pep, as after a few long days of sailing he has got on the podium and been award the silver medal in the under 11 category. Pep has had a great time at his Regatta and has learnt some amazing skills. Well done Pep.
