Primary Class Teacher (Year 4) – Temporary Paternity Cover
We are seeking a suitably experienced and motivated Primary Teacher to cover a period of paternity leave in our Year 4 class on a full-time basis, from 9 February to 27 March 2026, based at our Tafira Campus. The successful candidate must be suitably qualified, fluent in English, have experience teaching in the Primary phase, and demonstrate flexibility. Primary Cover Teacher and Cover Assistant Teacher roles
The British School of Gran Canaria (Tafira) is looking for a suitably experienced, qualified, and motivated individual to support our teaching team in a cover role for both teachers’ and assistant teachers’ absences.
The individual must be fluent in English, have experience of working with children, and be suitably qualified. Flexibility is essential. The role involves working with children from the age of 3–11.
The nature of this position makes it important that the applicant has their own transport.
