Secondary Chemistry Teacher
We are seeking an inspiring and highly qualified Chemistry Teacher to join our Science Department at the Tafira Campus. This is a full-time position for a passionate scientist dedicated to delivering excellence in STEM education. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching Chemistry across the Secondary phase, including Key Stage 3 Science, preparing students for IGCSE and teaching A-Level Chemistry. We are looking for an educator who can spark curiosity through practical experimentation and maintain the highest standards of academic achievement.
Post might also be available with a middle managerial position of responsibility.
Primary Cover Teacher and Cover Assistant Teacher roles
The British School of Gran Canaria (Tafira) is looking for a suitably experienced, qualified, and motivated individual to support our teaching team in a cover role for both teachers’ and assistant teachers’ absences.
The individual must be fluent in English, have experience of working with children, and be suitably qualified. Flexibility is essential. The role involves working with children from the age of 3–11.
The nature of this position makes it important that the applicant has their own transport.
