Mr Mick Williams
Mr Mick Williams, much respected and loved British School teacher, passed away on Sunday 19th September 2021. The school community’s thoughts and best wishes are with Vanesa and their family at this time.
Mr Williams worked at the school in two stints for over 13 years, firstly from 1992 to 1997, and then from 2005 to his retirement in 2013. In addition to teaching history, he was the Secondary Examinations Officer and Senior Teacher, bringing his experience and knowledge to support the school’s wider development and managing important school processes.
The impact and influence Mr Williams made on his pupils was significant, with especially his former A Level students returning for a visit to school, fondly enquiring about him and remembering with strong affection the positive times and important learning conducted in his classes.
As a colleague, Mr Williams was held in equally high regard. He was always willing to help and support his peers in a professional capacity, using his extensive experience for the benefit of others. He was also a good and caring friend, constantly looking out for others.
