BSGC’s Team Lions make it to the CICAE debate final!

BSGC’s debate team, Team Lions, did the school extremely proud back in March, reaching the final in the CICAE debate tournament - the largest school debate competition in Europe.

Sadly, they came second however they did all they possibly could to secure the overall win and represented the school fantastically.  

The debate topic - Is the rapid rise of e-commerce having a positive impact on society? – required great research with both the economic and social argument needing to be considered. The standard of debate, along with the level of English being spoken, was extremely high.
