On Saturday 30th April, approximately 230 students, parents and staff from BSGC South and Tafira travelled to the Canarian mountainside near Valleseco. The group had volunteered to help plant trees with the local NGO Fundación FORESTA, working collaboratively and productively to plant over 260 trees!
It was an extremely enjoyable and rewarding experience, simultaneously helping reforest the island whilst also modelling important attributes for our children. The school is immensely grateful to the students, parents and staff who enabled this event to be so successful and to Foresta, for proving such an opportunity and experience!
