BSGC Graduates Making Their Mark Across the World
We are incredibly proud of our graduates who leave BSGC and go on to excel at top universities worldwide. Last year, 14 students chose to continue their studies at universities in Spain, while others ventured further afield to Ireland, the UK, Belgium, the Netherlands, Italy, and even Australia! With their high-level of English, strong academic foundation, global awareness, and excellent interpersonal skills, BSGC students are truly prepared to thrive on the international stage. The world is theirs to explore, and we can’t wait to see what they achieve next! |

|  | Alumni Spotlight –Martina Studying Medicine Martina D. S., a former BSGC student, is currently pursuing a degree in Medicine at the University of CEU San Pablo. Reflecting on her first-year experience, she shares: ‘My classes include anatomy, cellular biology, biochemistry, anthropology, and medical physics. My all-time favourites have been anatomy and biochemistry. Surprisingly, despite being the toughest subject I’ve ever had, I’ve enjoyed medical physics as I’ve begun to understand its importance.’ |

| | Alumni Spotlight – Bella’s Journey in Neuroscience Bella, a 2021 BSGC graduate, studied A-Level Biology, Chemistry, and English Literature before pursuing a Neuroscience degree at the University of St Andrews, Scotland, where they are now in their fourth year. During their studies, Bella has been actively involved in research on motor control using various model animals. Last year, they led a research project on adaptive movement coordination, writing a manuscript that is now a preprint. |

| Bella also had the incredible opportunity to present their work at two major neuroscience conferences—FENS and SfN—engaging with leading experts in the field. Reflecting on their journey, Bella shares: “Public speaking once felt daunting, but the encouragement I received at BSGC gave me the confidence to take on these challenges. I hope to continue making my school community proud!” |
| A Step Closer to Her Dream
After completing her Biomedical Sciences degree at Kings College London, Carolina is now pursuing graduate entry medicine at University College Dublin! Currently in her second year, she has just received her ‘white coat’ as she heads into placements. Carolina shares: ‘It’s a challenging journey, but every step brings me closer to my dream of becoming a doctor!’ |

| Opportunities Open for BSGC Graduates Sahas, a 2021 BSGC graduate, recently earned a degree in Business Management from the University of Manchester, part of the prestigious UK Russell Group. Immediately after graduating, Sahas secured a graduate role at the multinational travel company Expedia in London, working as a Sales and Account Manager. During their time at BSGC, Sahas studied A-Level Business, French, English Literature, and Spanish, building a strong academic foundation for future success. Reflecting on his BSGC: “The school provided me with resources and support far beyond what I initially expected, allowing me to excel both professionally and academically.” We are incredibly proud of Sahas and look forward to seeing where this exciting journey leads next! |

| Advice from a Former Pupil Studying Medicine Choosing the right career path is a big decision, and one former BSGC student studying Medicine shares this advice: "Take the time to thoroughly research and reflect on your career choice. If you find your classes enjoyable and engaging, you’re far more likely to succeed. Throughout my studies, I’ve learned to be open-minded, creative, responsible, and to stay up to date—these are essential skills that will serve you well in any career." ‘Most importantly, don’t be afraid to step outside your comfort zone—whether that means studying in a new country or embracing unfamiliar challenges. There’s so much more to experience beyond home, and your university years will undoubtedly be one of the most rewarding and beautiful chapters of your life.’
