Another successful residential camp for Year 3 - this time in a new location - south-central Las Tederas. The Year 3 children from the South school and Tafira school met up in the beautiful setting of Santa Lucía to spend two days making new friends and generally having a big adventure. We slid down ziplines over the craggy hillside, explored a never-ending tunnel deep into the mountainside, learnt a new game called garrafón-ball (we are absolutely brilliant at it!!), made wallets out of recycled materials, and played nocturnal catch the flag.
Best of all, we were really brave. As we fearlessly tried new experiences, doing it all with just our friends and teachers (and without mum and dad!). We are all now looking forward to repeating the experience for two nights in Year 4!
